Our first walleye charter experience and Dean did not disappoint! Dean is very knowledgeable about his trade, worked hard to find fish, was constantly busy putting lines out, helped land our limit of fish and a handy fish cleaner to boot! He was especially helpful in getting our 11 yr. old granddaughter involved as well! His enthusiasm made our day most enjoyable! Thanks Dean!

I have now been out with Dean at HardCore Charters 3 times over the last few years. Once trolling Erie for steelhead, once jigging the Detroit River for walleye and most recently trolling Erie for walleye. Every single time has been a top notch experience! I have taken a long friends with basically all levels of fishing experience. The beginners have had a blast learning the basics, and always getting on fish. The more advanced anglers have really enjoyed learning some new tips and tricks to perfect their craft, and learn a little bit extra on reading electronics and finding fish more often. Dean really takes his time, and makes sure that the experience you have on his boat fits your needs. His vessel and equipment is all in great shape. Safety equipment is always utilized, and even in some less than ideal weather conditions, Dean makes sure your time on the water is as comfortable as possible. I have recommended Dean many times over, and never received anything put total praise when they return. I look forward to wherever my next trip with him takes me.

Went out with Captain Dean on a Detroit River Charter with some guys from work. That had never jigged before. Had a absolute blast. Captain Dean was GREAT he took his time to show us the right technique on how to jig. We boated lots of fish 3 of which went just over the 10lb mark!!!! He took the time to explained to us what he was seeing on the fish finder... So if your looking for a great day on the water with lots of laughs and fish then this is the charter for you!!!! We will definitely be rebooking!!!!

Multi species Captain Dean has the ability to put you on fish. He starts every charter teaching safety, teaching how to location fish and gets you on the fish. From experienced angler to novice angler, you will learn something every trip. His approach is down to earth and you feel comfortable right away-age doesn't matter "Your group will have fun"

Dean is an awesome captain. His knowledge of walleye fishing blew me away. He got us on fish all day long and we limited out. my 10 year old son caught his first walleye that day and never looked back, reeling in a bunch more after that. Can’t wait to book another trip!!!

Our group fished the Detroit River with Captain Dean of Hard Core Charters. We had a great time with Captain Dean on the Charter. Dean was very instructive on the Charter. He took the time to answer any questions we had. He explained things very well. We caught plenty of fish and had a blast doing it. Everything we needed to fish was supplied and he even cleaned all the Walleye when we were done. I would highly recommend Hard Core Charters with Captain Dean!

Captain Dean is one of the most knowledgeable guides I have fished with. Dean is always optimistic, fun to be around and is willing to thoroughly answer all of your questions. Other guides will help you catch fish, but Dean will ‘teach’ you how to catch them and explain every detail.
